The Orchestra Section of NCMEA is comprised of the Eastern and Western Regions. Each region hosts a number of events that greatly enhance the musical education of the students of North Carolina. These events include Regional Honors Orchestras, Solo and Ensemble Festivals, and Music Performance Adjudication (formerly known as Contest/Festival). This website is intended as an important resource for the instrumental directors of North Carolina. Students and parents should consult with their respective directors for information regarding the various requirements and events.
